Ashleigh graduated from Texas A&M in December 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Leadership Studies, with minors in both English and Communication. She went on to earn a Master of Education degree from TAMU Commerce in 2017. She is currently a Residential Mortgage Loan Originator, NMLS #1961104, with Mortgage Financial Services in Corpus Christi, Texas. Prior to working in the mortgage industry, Ashleigh was a secondary English Language Arts & Reading teacher for 8 years in 4 different school districts across Texas. She currently serves on the Board of Directors as the Vice President of Activities for the Nueces County A&M Club, better known as the "Salty Aggies". She is very involved in her community, including being an active member in the Junior League of Corpus Christi and serving on the board for Fish for Life, a local student mentorship program. In her time at Texas A&M, she was a communications student assistant at The Association of Former Students. She was also involved in Traditions Council, Aggie Sisters for Christ, the Public Relations Student Society of America, and the 12th Man Student Foundation.
