Roll Call Tribute

Arnold G. Hlavinka '69, 62, of Wharton died June 15, 2009, of injuries sustained in a farming accident. He was a self-employed farmer in Matagorda and Wharton County. He had lived in Lane City and Bay City before moving back to his hometown of Wharton. Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Blanche; three sons, including Colin L. Hlavinka '01; a daughter; four grandchildren; his mother; brothers; and sisters.
