Roll Call Tribute

Joe Ed Spencer '69, 74, of Burleson (formerly of San Angelo and Eldorado) died Aug. 31, 2008. He was on the faculty of Sul Ross State College in Alpine as dean of men before joining Tarrant County Junior College, where he retired in 2000 as vice chancellor of financial services. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; a son; a daughter, Carla Spencer Cockerham '85; eight grandchildren; and a brother.
