Roll Call Tribute

Benson L. Bailess, Jr. '69, 87, of Huntington (formerly of La Porte) died Jan. 14, 2009. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a supervisor/teacher at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi and a retired rancher. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Scotty; four sons; a daughter; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother; and a sister.
