Richard L. "Dick" Reiling '69, 64, of Gresham, Oregon (formerly of Klamath Falls, Oregon) died December 26, 2006 after a long battle with Lou Gehrig's disease. He had a 34-year career in teaching and coaching with positions in California and Oregon. He retired as principal at Lebanon (Oregon) High School in 1997. He coached football, boys and girls basketball, baseball, wrestling and golf. His teams won the baseball state championship in 1973 and the girls basketball state championship in 1980. He was named high school coach of the year for the state of Oregon in 1980. Survivors include his wife, Yvonne; a son; a daughter; four grandchildren; his father; a brother; and two sisters.
