Elora Watkins Dale '69, 86, of Bryan (formerly of Palestine) died May 16, 2009. She taught at A&M Consolidated Middle School and South Knoll and College Hills elementary schools in College Station and became an advocate for the education of deaf and hearing impaired children. She and her late husband, Donald R. Dale '52, owned and operated Pooh's Park, a skating and amusement park in College Station. Survivors include a son, Christopher A. Dale '75; three daughters, Donna C. (Dale) Mogle '76, Debra L. (Dale) Evans '76 and Dixie L. Dale '79; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
