Amber Elizabeth Jackson, passed away in San Diego, California on April 9, 2025. She was born on March 20, 1987 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the parents of Pamela and Alfred Jackson. Mass of Christian burial will be at noon at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church on Saturday May 3, 2025. Visitation is from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM Rosary at 9:45 AM at Combre Funeral Home, Lake Charles, LA.
Amber was a cherished member of our family, whose presence brought warmth and love into our lives. She was known for her contagious joyful happiness, kindness and sense of humor, and she touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She spent her early years developing a passion for Creole cooking. She was baptized at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, where many of her family members made their spiritual home. She attended Texas A&M University and then graduated from Austin College and pursued a career in IT.
Amber enjoyed exploring local parks on her bicycle and traveling the world with family and friends. Her creativity and enthusiasm were a source of inspiration to all.
Amber is survived by her parents, Pamela and Alfred Jackson of The Woodlands, Texas; her brother, Andrew, of Los Angeles, California as well as her boisterous and loving aunties, Roxanne Boxie (Robert), Norma Guillory and Betty Harrison (Donald), her cousins Wayne, Walter, Will, Stacie, Shelley, Robyn and Father Boxie all of Lake Charles, Louisiana and her grandfather Harold Jackson Sr of El Paso, TX. She will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
