Cecil Lynn Dukes, Maj. USAF (Ret)

Cecil Lynn Dukes was born September 15, 1949, in Huntsville, Texas, to Cecil Lee Dukes and Mildred Lavern Cregg Dukes. He passed from this life October 30, 2025, at Round Rock Texas, having reached the age of 76 years.
Lynn graduated from Texas A&M University in 1971 with a bachelor degree in Physical Education. He was a member of the A & M Corps of Cadets and the Sul Ross Volunteers.
On September 15, 1971, he was commissioned as an officer in the United States Air Force, where he proudly served for 20 years, achieving the rank of Major. Upon retirement from military service, Lynn was employed as a physical education teacher and a mortgage lender.
Lynn’s great loves were his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and his family and friends. He was a devoted supporter of Texas A&M University and all Aggie sports teams, the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Astros.
Lynn is survived by sons: Clinton Lee Dukes (Lisa) of Watauga, Texas, and Courtney Lynn Dukes of Taylor, Texas; grandchildren: Casin Loyd Dukes and Covie LeeAnn Dukes; sisters: Karen Felkner (Roy) and Diane Conway; numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family members.
