Lindsey Meredith (Fitzpatrick) Ortiz 

July 1, 1983 - December 15, 2025 

Lindsey Meredith Ortiz of Richardson, Texas passed away December 15, 2025 at the age of 42. She was born to Gregory Scott and Sandra (Sturdivant) Fitzpatrick on July 1, 1983 in Dallas, Texas.

Lindsey grew up in Dallas and graduated from J.J. Pearce High School in 2001. She attended Texas A&M University and graduated from the Art Institute of Dallas. Lindsey worked in the home building industry most of her life, working as a purchasing manager. She also worked in the interior design business. Lindsey enjoyed gardening.

She is survived by her children, Abigale and Cameron Ortiz; father, Greg Fitzpatrick and his wife, Karen of Richardson, Texas; brother, Brian Fitzpatrick and wife, Meggan of Prosper, Texas; sister, Lauren Lee and husband, Matt of Plano, Texas; brother, Frank Plewa and wife, Aerica of Richardson, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Lindsey was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Fitzpatrick.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. Interment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park following the service.
