George Harrell Herrmann 

May 9, 1951 - June 30, 2021 

George Harrell Herrmann, age 70, was born on May 9, 1951 in Lampasas, TX to Dorothy and Joe Herrmann. George passed away, Wednesday June 30, 2021 at his home.

He graduated from Lampasas High School and went on to Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. After graduation from A&M in 1973 he returned to Lampasas to operate the family business, Herrmann Feed & Supply alongside his parents. He had a love for people and agriculture. George sold the family business in 2012 to enjoy retirement. After retirement he loved to travel with his friends. George had many accomplishments in his life. One of the most remembered was winning the Grand Champion Steer at the Fort Worth Stock Show two years in a row. He was involved in the community and served on the Spring Ho Committee and was even the Grand Marshall of the Parade in 2009. He had a love for entertaining people and anyone was welcome on his back porch or by the pool. He enjoyed life, Marlboro lights, and crown royal and not necessarily in that order.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe D. Herrmann and his mother, Dorothy Harrell Herrmann, and his brother Joe Paul Herrmann.

There will be a graveside memorial service at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas, Texas.
