David Arthur Piering, Sr. 

February 1, 1951 - August 5, 2025 

David A. Piering, (74), of Plano, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

David, affectionately known as Dave, was born to Gilbert and Edna Piering on February 1, 1951, in Madison, WI., moving shortly thereafter to Dallas, TX. He attended Jesuit College Prep High School, then graduated from Hillcrest High School his Senior year. He attended Texas A&M University pursuing a career in Electrical Engineering. Dave enjoyed spending time singing and playing his guitar with friends and family.

Dave's loving spirit is carried on by Susan Steele, who has been by his side for over twenty years; his children David, Jenny, Sara, Layna, and Mikala; along with his brothers Jerry and Michael; his sisters Diane, Donna, and Kathryn. Dave was loved by many beautiful grandchildren. Preceding him in peace are his parents, Gil and Edna, and his brothers Tommy, Steve, and Larry; his nephews Tim, Matthew, and Jay; and granddaughter, Katlyn.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 4:00 pm Aria Cremation Services & Funeral Home 19310 Preston Road Dallas, TX.
