David Michael "Mike" White 

September 13, 1952 - January 8, 2026 

David Michael White, beloved son, brother, friend, father, and grandfather passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026, in Pleasanton Texas. He was born in Falfurrias to Jesse and Virginia White in 1952. David graduated from Three Rivers high school in 1970. He continued his education at Texas A&M University, proudly earning his bachelor degree in animal science in 1974.

After college David dedicated his entire career to the oil and gas industry, where he was known for his expertise and long term commitment. His colleagues admired his work ethics, and his family cherished his warmth and generosity. After retirement David would spend time watching football, spending quality time with his daughter, and showing his son how to cook the perfect rib!

He will be deeply missed by everyone that knew him.

David is survived by his daughter Michelle White; son Steven White (Brittanie White); sisters Fay Monique "Money" White Montgomery, Jane Raquel "Rocky" White Koury (Mike), Evaun Sarita "Sita" White Zuniga (Danny), Renee Francine White Claunch; grandchildren Isabella White, Annabelle White, William White along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents Jesse and Virginia White.

Visitation for David is Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM with a 2:30 Prayer Service all at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel. Services conclude at the funeral home.
