Rafael B. Martinez
December 8, 1943 - February 14, 2026
Born on December 8, 1943 in the Dominican Republic. In 1968 he married Polly Martinez. Together, they shared 58 years of memories.
Rafael was a graduate of Texas A&M University in 1970 with a Masters Degree of Agriculture and Economics.
Rafael worked as an insurance agent, Teacher with HISD, and Owner of Mi Cocina and Polly’s Cocina Restaurant. Rafael was a lifelong learner and enjoyed the challenge of learning new skills.
Surviving are his wife Polly Martinez, eldest son Chris Martinez, and youngest son Rafael B. Martinez, Jr.
