William Vincent "Bill" Milberger 

June 30, 1940 - December 28, 2025 

William Vincent Milberger, age 85, of Bryan, Texas, passed away peacefully December 28, 2025. A loving family man and dedicated professional, William's life was marked by numerous accomplishments and cherished moments with those he loved.

Born on June 30, 1940, in Bryan, Texas, William was the son of Cyril and Leona Milberger. He was a proud graduate of Stephen F. Austin High School, class of 1958. Shortly after, he enlisted in the United States Army, where he served honorably as a Specialist 4th Class in Korea and at Sandia Base in New Mexico. His service was recognized with a Good Conduct Medal, highlighting his dedication and commitment to his country.

After his military service, William returned to Texas to pursue higher education at Texas A&M University, graduating with a degree in accounting in 1964. He later achieved his Certified Public Accountant status in 1965. Throughout his 60-year career in accounting, he made significant contributions to the profession, beginning his career with Durst, Wood and Ingram, before becoming a partner in Durst and Wood. Following the firm's transition to Milberger, Nesbitt and Ask, he continued to serve until his retirement in 2024.

William had a deep passion for music, and he often became a DJ for special events, such as weddings and anniversaries. His enthusiasm for music spanned various genres, from lively polka to enjoying music festivals and concerts. Additionally, he cherished his time spent golfing and working at the farm with his beloved cows.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Trey. William is survived by his devoted wife, Brenda Glover Milberger; his sons, William V. Milberger Jr. and wife Kay, and Michael L. Milberger and wife Melissa; his daughter, Tami Milberger Fields and husband Mark; his brother, Joe L. Milberger and wife Cindy; brother-in-law, Ronnie Glover; his grandchildren, JT and wife Brittany, Jordan and wife Tristan, Katie and husband Zak, Mariah and husband Kenneth, Emilee, Kelsey, Elayna and husband Nick, Allison and husband Cody, and Hanna; and his great-grandchildren, Hailee, Brylen, Avah, Kiahlee, Crosby, Jordyn, Meah, Myah, Mallik, Sam, Lylah, Sage, Myles, and Tate.

A visitation will take place on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Reliance Baptist Church, located at 6925 Reliance Church Rd, Bryan, TX 77808. This will be followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. A lunch will be held at 11:30 AM, and interment will occur at Reliance Baptist Cemetery with full military honors following the service.

William will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, and his legacy will continue through the many lives he touched.
