Cathy Jo (Thuem) LeJeune 

January 11, 1963 - December 21, 2025 

Cathy Thuem LeJeune was born on January 11, 1963, in Austin, Texas. She attended Itasca High School and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University. She later received her Master’s degree from Sam Houston State University.

Cathy dedicated her career to education, serving students and communities with compassion and commitment. She worked at Spring ISD from 1985 to 1999, Klein ISD from 1999 to 2018, and Hand2Mind from 2018 to 2024.

When she wasn’t working, Cathy loved camping, traveling, playing games and puzzles, going out to dinner with friends, and attending church. She grew up attending Itasca Presbyterian Church and was a devoted member of St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church for 40 years.

Above all, Cathy cherished her family, especially time spent with her grandson. She is survived by her loving husband, Mitchell LeJeune; her children, Nathan LeJeune and wife Lauren, Aaron LeJeune and wife Karla, and Alyssa LeJeune; her grandson, Aaroncito LeJeune; and her sisters, Candy Tekell and husband Larry, and Cherry Alarid and husband Kerry.

Memorial Services to be held on January 17, 2026 at 11:00am at St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church, 14301 Stuebner Airline Rd, Houston, TX 77069.
