John Anthony Matt 

February 15, 1970 - December 4, 2025 

John Anthony Matt passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 55, due to heart disease.

John was a devoted husband and a loving father. He is survived by his wife, Guldina Matt, and his children, Agata and Jay Matt, who were the center of his life.

John was a proud graduate of Texas A&M University, where he played football and developed a lifelong connection to the university. His years as a student-athlete shaped his character and instilled values of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance that remained with him throughout his life.

He later continued his education at the University of Houston, earning his master's degree and a PhD in Industrial Engineering. John was deeply committed to his profession and was respected for his knowledge, dedication, and strong work ethic.

He will be remembered for his devotion to his family, and the meaningful impact he had on those who knew him. John's memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and will be deeply missed.
