Carroll Mart Sinclair 

September 18, 1937 - December 9, 2025 

Services for Carroll Mart Sinclair, 88, of Tyler, Texas will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Stewart Family Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Brumley officiating. Interment will follow at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery in Tyler.

Mr. Sinclair passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025, in Tyler. He was born September 18, 1937, in Oakwood to Lettie Elizabeth Dorsett and Leon R. Sinclair.

Carroll was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church and retired from Tyler Rotary with 41 years perfect attendance. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Architecture in 1960. He was First Alternate for the Fullbright Scholarship, Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society and Engineering School Student of the Year. He also received his Master of Art from UT Tyler in 1992. He founded Sinclair & Wright Architects in Tyler in 1974 and was also a Registered Interior Designer Emeritus. He retired from Architecture in 2002. After retirement he enjoyed photography, painting, bronze casting and writing. He became a publisher and published three of his own books.

Carroll was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and his daughter, Lisa. He is survived by his loving family including his wife, Barbara, his daughter, Jeanie Elliott, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
