Preston D. Hutson 

June 5, 1965 - June 27, 2025 

Following a long battle with cancer fought courageously and with dignity, Preston Hutson passed away peacefully in his home on June 27, 2025, surrounded by his family. Preston is survived by his beloved wife, Julie, their 2 children, Alexandra and Kyle, his parents, Linda and Gordon, his siblings, Emily and Bryan, their families, and, finally, his devoted dog, Coby, who never left his side.

A family man above all else, Preston is most remembered for his unwavering dedication to his wife of 31 years and children. When it came to his children, Preston was always the first person to offer them support and encouragement. He never missed an opportunity to bring them to an Aggie game. His constant and comforting presence will not be forgotten.

Preston carried his dedication with him throughout all aspects of his life. As a devoted Aggie, Preston's second love was Texas A&M sports, particularly football. His enthusiasm for A&M could be heard from miles around.

After graduating with a J.D. from the University of Houston, Preston specialized in civil defense and built a meaningful career. Preston's love of the law was just like his love for everything else - passionate, unyielding, and meaningful.
