Michael Benjamin "Mike" Kuban

May 13, 1982 - December 7, 2025

Michael Benjamin Kuban, most commonly known as Mike, passed away peacefully with family by his side on December 7, 2025, at age 43 following a valiant battle with MS. He was a beloved husband, son, brother, nephew, and uncle.

Mike was born in Arlington, Texas to the late Joseph Kuban and Mary Anne Bowen. He was a precocious and social person from a young age. Mike was a graduate of Nolan Catholic High School and earned his bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University where he became a proud member of the Aggie cult. Following that, he earned his master's degree in finance at the University of Houston. Mike spent much of his working career at NCR working in POS software and quality control. He greatly appreciated being on an international team and getting to know about his coworkers' lives and cultures across the globe.

A free spirit, Mike enjoyed traveling around the world making multiple trips to Southeast Asia and Europe. Never one to meet a stranger, he made friends wherever he went. Mike had a sharp and inquisitive mind, always learning, from science to Spanish to tracking UAPs. A Cowboys fan, he was greatly disappointed in their consistently poor record.

Mike married his wife Kim in September 2017. They shared 8 blessed years together filled with love, happiness, and Ted, their rascal dog.

He is survived by his wife Kim, mother Mary Anne Bowen(and husband Scott), brothers Matt Kuban (and wife Michelle) and Zack Bowen, nephew Sam, nieces Evie and Josefina, in-laws David and Trudy Heinzelmann and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. And Ted.
