Joseph David Baxley 

September 5, 1970 - October 28, 2025 

Joseph David Baxley, 55, of Melissa, TX passed away on October 28, 2025. Born on September 5, 1970 to the late Kenneth Baxley of Mt. Pleasant, TX and Dolores Brimer of Fruitvale, TX.

Joseph graduated in 1989 from Mt. Pleasant High School and went on to graduate from Texas A&M University, College Station, with a degree in business. He worked for Kinko's starting in 1994 and continued his career at Fed Ex Office as a Senior Business Analyst until his passing.

He leaves behind his sons, Thomas Baxley and Andrew Baxley; their mother, Kacie Baxley of Melissa, TX; mother, Dolores Brimer of Fruitvale, TX; and two half-brothers, Bobby Baxley and Robby Baxley both of Dallas, TX; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Also, an extended family: step-father, the late Kennith Brimer of Fruitvale, TX; Dwight Brimer and wife Valerie of Fruitvale, TX; and Jodi Anderson of Arlington, TX.

There will be a memorial service at 2:00 pm on November 10, 2025 at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Chapel in Mt. Pleasant, TX.
