Douglas Allen "Doug" Adams 

August 19, 1958 - November 4, 2025 

Douglas Allen Adams, 67, of Richardson, Texas, passed away after a long battle with cancer on November 4th, 2025.

A lifelong Texan, Doug was a pioneer in his family, being the first to attend college. He graduated from Texas A&M University and remained a fiercely proud Aggie throughout his life. Doug dedicated his professional life to the automotive industry, spending 43 years selling fleet, police, and municipality vehicles. He was known by his colleagues and clients alike for his honesty, dedication, and warm sense of humor.

More than just his successful career, Doug was characterized by his kind spirit. He was a loving and caring man who cherished his family and friends. After joining Pathways in 2000, he dedicated his free time mentoring those in need.

Doug was preceded in death by his father, Leo Bishop Adams and his sister Vicki Davis. He is survived by his mother, Mary Lou Adams; his little sister Kathi Adams; beloved children, Delaney Adams and Derek Adams; nieces Holly Davis, Kristin O'Banion, Ashley Stokes, Tiffany McCloy, and nephew Scott McCloy; and many other cherished extended relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Douglas will be held on November 19th, 2025 at 1PM for friends, family, and coworkers, to come share their favorite memories of this wonderful man. It will be held at Distinctive Life Funeral Home in Plano Texas.

A private graveside service will be held for the family at Rosevine Cemetery in Sabine County, Texas, where he will be peacefully laid to rest.
