Edward Young "Ed" Keetch, Col. USAF (Ret)
June 15, 1937 - November 7, 2025
Edward Young Keetch, Colonel, USAF (Ret.), 88, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Ann Hamilton Keetch, passed peacefully in his home on November 7, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 10am on Saturday, November the 15th at J. Henry Stuhr Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road.
Edward was born June 15, 1937, in New Orleans, Louisiana, son of the late Grigsby Young Keetch and the late Rosalin Houser. During World War II, he lived with his grandmother, aunts, mother and sister in Fort Worth, Texas while his father was serving in the Navy. He would help make sandwiches for troops who came through on trains that passed near their back yard. This is reflected in his lifelong desire to serve others. He attended Texas A&M University and was a member of the Corps of Cadets. Ann and Ed were lifelong Texans until relocating to the Lowcountry 10 years ago. He was a Personnel Officer in the United States Air Force and a member of Christ Church Anglican.
Ed is survived by wife, Ann of Mount Pleasant, SC; son, Gregory Keetch and his wife Beth of Mount Pleasant, SC; daughter, Kelly Molloy and her husband Jim of Lynchburg, Virginia currently residing in Kenya, Africa; sister, Betty Dobelbower and her husband Tom of Topeka, Kansas; three grandchildren, Grey and his wife Albina Keetch, Rebecca Boman and her husband Devin, Baylee Eby and her husband Daniel; and eight great-grandchildren, Grace Keetch, Reagan Boman, Thea Boman, Henry Boman, Walter Boman, Elyse Eby, Jovial Eby, and Jubilee Eby.
