George Bradley Dorrell

February 12, 1962 - October 5, 2025

George Bradley Dorrell, age 63, passed away Oct 5, 2025 at his home in Corinth, Texas following a lengthy illness. He was surrounded by his loving wife and other family members. Born in Orange, TX on February 12, 1962, he was the youngest child of Thomas B. Dorrell and Jean Flowers Dorrell. George was a Christian, and grew up attending First Baptist Church of Orange where he was a member. He graduated from West Orange Stark High School in 1980, and from Texas A&M University in the class of 1984.

After graduating from A&M, George moved to Bakersfield, California, where he began a very successful career in chemical sales with Ashland Oil. In his sales career, he changed jobs and moved to several states including Arizona, Colorado, and back in Texas. Eventually, he sought a change, and he established the North Dallas Fence and Patio Company in Plano, TX where he continued as owner until his passing.

George was a fun loving people person who loved music, cooking, and sports. He followed his Aggies faithfully during football season, as well as other Texas teams. While living in Colorado, he even played semi pro rugby with the Denver Barbarians. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and riding his Harley- especially on mountain roads. He and his wife Teresa enjoyed several years of traveling across the country, living in their RV, and working as Workcampers in some of the most beautiful parts of the country.

George was preceded in death by his parents and his brother James V. Dorrell. Surviving to cherish his memory are his beloved wife Teresa, stepsons Pablo Ledezma (Dianella) and Alejandro Ledezma, sister Tommye J Dorrell Johnson(Paul), sister in law Maria Dorrell, and nephews Adam Johnson (Jodi), Seth Johnson (Erika), Beau Dorrell, and Nick Dorrell (Erin), great niece Rose Johnson and many cousins.

Per George’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service or visitation. Instead, there will be a private family memorial service at a future date and time.
