December 25, 1974 - September 8, 2025
Brad Canon, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Monday, September 8, 2025 at a Houston hospital.
Funeral Service: 10AM Saturday, September 13 at Journey Christian Community Church. Burial: Moore Cemetery in Chalk Bluff. No Visitation is planned.
Born on December 25, 1974, in Austin, Texas, Brad was the cherished son of Bill and the late Frances Canon.
Brad graduated from Robinson High School and went on to earn a degree in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University. He dedicated 25 years of service to Womack Machine Supply where he was known not only for his professionalism but also for his integrity and generosity.
He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Allison Canon, and their two daughters, Brooke and Emily, who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his father, Bill Canon; his sister, Lisa and her husband Roy, along with their two children; and his sister, Dianne and her husband Jeff, along with their two children. Brad’s life also touched many extended family members and dear friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
Brad was a devoted member of Journey Christian Community, where he served on the Board and lived out his faith through service and compassion. His greatest passions included building and flying airplanes, cheering on his daughters at their sporting events, and spending time outdoors-especially by the river-surrounded by those he cared for.
Brad will be remembered most for his unwavering devotion to his family and his fierce loyalty to his friends. His quiet strength, humility, and humor left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
