William Howard "Trey" Schell, III

June 19, 1986 - August 21, 2025

William "Trey" Howard Schell III passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 39. Born on June 19, 1986, Trey lived a life filled with compassion, laughter, and love.

A proud graduate of Texas A&M University, Class of 2009, Trey embodied the true spirit of an Aggie. He was also a devoted Houston Astros fan, never missing a chance to cheer on his team. Those who knew Trey will always remember him as the most fun and magnetic person in any room, someone who lived life with empathy, kindness, and a heart that cared deeply for others.

More than anything, Trey was profoundly proud to be "Dad" to his amazing children, Owen and Cameron. Being their father was the greatest joy of his life, and he treasured every moment he shared with them.

Trey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wanda and Jack Sullivan and Margie and Bill Schell, Sr.; his uncle, Michael Ferrin; his aunt, Carol Lohmeier; and his sweet companion, Skeeter. He is survived by his cherished children, Owen and Cameron Schell, and their mother, Lindsey; his parents, Sharon and Bill Schell; his grandmother, Ruby Schell and her partner, Butch George; his aunt, Rhonda Ferrin and his cousins, Chance Ferrin, Molly Smith and her husband Eric, Hannah Claxton and her husband Rob; his aunt Cathy Schell; Charlie and Audrey Schell and his cousins Rachel Harris, Sarah Schell and Gary Lohmeier; along with countless friends who were blessed by his presence and friendship.

In losing Trey, we have lost a piece of ourselves. Though our hearts are broken, we carry Trey's laughter, love, and light within us always. We find comfort in knowing his spirit will continue to live on through Owen, Cameron, and all who were lucky enough to be loved by him.
