Jacob Zane Warschak 

October 30, 1997 - November 19, 2025 

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jacob Warschak, age 28, a proud Texas A&M graduate, devoted friend, loving family member, and true embodiment of the Aggie spirit. He left this world far too soon, and his absence leaves a space that cannot be filled.

He was born on October 30, 1997 to Donald Warschak and Gail (Kasmiersky) Warschak, in Wharton, Texas.

Jacob grew up with a deep appreciation for family, community, and the outdoors. He attended Saint Phillips Catholic School in El Campo, Saint Anthony Catholic School, Columbus High School and Texas A&M University, where he earned his degree in Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering and formed friendships that would last a lifetime. He cherished his time in College Station, and anyone who knew him could attest to his unwavering loyalty to the Aggies. Whether it was football Saturdays, basketball and baseball games, or any excuse to cheer on his team, he carried the maroon and white proudly.

Jacob worked as a manufacturing engineer for Thomas Instrument in Brookshire. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council #2971.

Outside of sports, Jacob found peace and joy on the water. Fishing wasn’t just a hobby for him, it was a way of life. From early morning casts to quiet sunsets on the Laguna Madre, he treasured every moment spent outdoors. His patience, calm presence, and easy smile made him the perfect companion on any fishing trip. Jacob also enjoyed cooking with his family, and he was always looking for something new to prepare.

Jacob will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and the effortless warmth he brought into every room. He had a natural ability to make others feel welcome and valued, and his laughter, genuine and contagious, will echo in the hearts of those who loved him.

He is survived by his parents Donald and Gail Warschak; brother Luke Warschak; grandparents Janice Kasmiersky and Kenneth and Patsy Warschak, uncles and aunts, numerous cousins, along with countless friends who feel honored to have been part of his life. He was preceded in death by his grandfather A.K. Kasmiersky.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus, Texas. A Parish Prayer Service and Knights of Columbus Rosary will follow at 7:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus, Texas. Fr. James Dvorak, Fr. Augustine Asante, Fr. Steve Saucer, Fr. Nelson Nieto Gonzalez, and Fr. Robert Knippenberg will be officiating. Visitation at church will be from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Burial will take place in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Columbus, Texas.

Pallbearers are Clayton Theut, Jordi Theut, Andy Theut, Jacob Phillips, Hunter Tesch, Bruce Tesch, James Sellier and Edgar Perez.

Though his time with us was far too brief, Jacob leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and the enduring Aggie spirit. As the Aggie family says: “Thanks and Gig ’Em.”
