Timothy Shea "Tim" Casey
August 30, 1947 - June 9, 2025
Timothy "Tim" Shea Casey, 77, of Wimberley, Texas, passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025, in Austin, Texas. He was born on August 30, 1947, in Baytown, Texas, to the late W. Cole and Neva Marie Beaugh Casey. Most Wimberley residents who knew Tim used the name Shea when referring him. Eventually he started spelling his middle/business name Shay because so many mis-pronounced Shea.
Tim graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, Baytown, TX in 1965 then went on to attend Texas A & M University where he earned a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. Tim, along with business partner Richard Owens, owned and operated Varacorp Waste Water Evaporators which sold worldwide.
Tim pursued many interests, some of which included his love for animal rescue and being outdoors. He was a true animal lover and had many fur babies throughout his life. Tim also enjoyed relaxing with a good book and found pleasure in the simple things in life like sitting on the porch in the cool of an evening. His numerous nieces and nephews adored him.
Timothy (Tim) Shea (Shay) Casey is survived by siblings Renee Rabke, Karen Casey Fitzjerrell, Cathy Casey Berger and husband George, and Danny M. Casey and wife Helen; and numerous nieces and nephews; along with a host of other loving relatives and friends.
