Walter Louis Raynaud 

May 22, 1935 - October 22, 2025 

Walter Louis Raynaud, 90, of Waco, Texas passed away October 22, 2025 at Ascension Providence Hospital with his loving wife by his side.

Funeral Service is at 10:00 am, Tuesday October 28th, 2025 in the Chapel of Lake Shore Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 3:30pm in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth.

Walter was born on May 22, 1935 to parents Joseph B. and Muriel P. Raynaud.

Walter was a graduate of Texas A&M University. He was a Mechanical Engineer by trade and was the owner of Raynaud Engineering in Houston for many years. He was an avid member of the Lions Club for a number of years and loved riding his motorcycle. Walter was also a member of the Waco Stars square dancing club. He was a Drummer for the Scottish Pipers and a Drummer for the Baylor Singing Seniors. He loved traveling on trips to foreign countries. Walter was also a member of the Methodist Church and Renew Church.

Walter is preceded in death by his parents, Joe Bentivoglio Raynaud and Muriel Park Raynaud; his first wife, Beverly Willett Raynaud and his second wife, Charlene Parks and step brother, Marvin LaFrentz.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Raynaud; sons, Michael L. Raynaud and Allen Scott Raynaud; step sons, David Dorris and wife Teresa and Wade Dorris; step grandchildren, Sunny Ellis and husband Travis, Savannah Dorris, Dustin Dorris, Chelsey Black and husband Chad and 4 step great grandchildren.

Walter is also survived by his brother, Barton Raynaud and wife Terri of California; sister, Angela Smith and husband Terry of Abilene; nephew, Roger Smith his wife Melanie and their son, Matthew of Bastrop; grand nephew, Tye Smith of Austin; step brothers, Ralph LaFrentz, Kent LaFrentz; step sisters, Sharon Duarte, Barbara Hull, Carolyn Irwin, Denise Hunter and numerous other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral arrangements were trusted to Lake Shore Funeral Home and Crematory, Waco, TX.
