Jan Hudson Jackson 

June 7, 1936 - October 7, 2025 

Jan Hudson Jackson, 89, of Magnolia, TX, passed away on October 7th, 2025. Jan was born on June 7th, 1936 to Melvin Jackson and Mary Hudson in Alvarado, TX.

After Jan graduated from Alvarado high school in 1954, he went to study Soil Mechanics at Texas A&M University. After graduating college he enlisted in the Air Force where he served from 1959 - 1963. He was a Ground Radio Communications Equipment Repairman with a deployment in Iceland.

After leaving the military Jan went on to work at IBM and eventually branched out to own a few businesses. He married Virginia Parker in 1970, becoming a father to three boys, Billy, Mark, and Jimmy. They later had their daughters Jana and Dolly before divorcing in 1991.

In 1999 Jan retired and spent his time traveling, hanging out at the Tomball VFW, and spending quality time with his vast family including many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Jan was predeceased by his father Melvin, mother Mary, sister Geneva-Lou, brother Mel, and son Jimmy. He is survived by his sons Billy and Mark, daughters Jana and Dolly, and his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Services will be held at the Tomball VFW on October 18th, 2025 at 10am.
