Billy Norman Earnst 

December 28, 1933 - December 7, 2023 

Billy Norman Earnst was born on December 28, 1933 in Enid, Oklahoma. Bill and his parents, prior owners of the Holiday Inn Motel moved to Aransas Pass in 1952. He graduated from Aransas Pass High School and attended Texas A&M University. Bill was an employee and retiree of Reynolds Metals for over 30 years, working in local plant as well as Venezuela and Brazil.

Bill was active in St. Mary's Star of the Sea Knights of Columbus. He and Sylvia were awarded Family of the Year by the Knights in 2006. They loved dancing, including square dancing. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, and traveling especially his trip to Ireland.

Bill married Sylvia White in 1956 and they recently celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary. They had two sons Jimmy and Billy. Bill was preceded in death by his parents Esta and James Earnst and his youngest son Billy, also an Aggie. He is survived by his loving wife and his son Jimmy as well as four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
