Jeffrey Ross Burd 

May 24, 1972 - April 3, 2023 

Jeff Burd passed away in Scottsdale AZ, April 3, 2023 after suffering from a severe hemorrhagic stroke September 13, 2019. Jeff fought hard to recover but went home to be with the Lord in no pain and in the arms of his wife, Kempa.

Jeff was born in May of 1972 in Kansas and moved to Arlington, Texas at the age of one. He went to college at Texas A&M University and received his degree at North Texas State University with a BS in marketing. Jeff enjoyed his time as a Phi Delta fraternity. Jeff and Kempa married in 2006 and they have two wonderful children, Porter 15 and Presley 13. The family moved to Arizona in 2016 for Jeff's career in the mortgage business. Jeff was a Christ believer, loving husband, doting father, amazing son and sweet little brother. He was a great friend to many and the life of the party.

Jeff enjoyed fishing, golfing and getting together with friends and family. Jeff was a dedicated Dallas Cowboy and Texas Aggie fan. He loved music. Whether he was playing the guitar, piano or always ready with a playlist of his favorite songs, he was the music man. And there was always a dance to go along with the music. Jeff loved life and being surrounded by his family and friends.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 16 years Kempa Burd, son Porter, daughter Presley, Mom Dixie Burd, Dad Terry Burd, sister Kelly Neace and countless family and friends.
