Jack Lewis Roeger passed away on June 2, 2025

Jack was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on November 28, 1925, to Louis Hubert Roeger and Lillian Zirke Roeger. Jack attended Byrd High School in Shreveport. In 1946 Jack graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture from Texas A&M University.

Jack was a veteran, having enlisted in the Army Air Corp before graduating from college. He was a member of the 15th Air Force division that served in Italy during WWII. He served our nation for a little over one year during the War. After graduating from college, Jack worked with Weiner, Hill, Morgan and O'Neal Architects in Shreveport, LA.

Jack married Barbara Weber in 1951. The two raised a son and two daughters in Shreveport. After retiring, Jack and Barbara moved to Branson, Missouri. While living in Branson, Jack was on the local Planning and Zoning Commission for six years. He was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church where he served as a deacon.

In his spare time, Jack enjoyed woodworking, photography, traveling and building model airplanes.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Lillian Roeger and his wife Barbara. He is survived by a sister June Brown of Arizona, a son David Roeger from Florida, a daughter Susan Lewis and husband Dave from Missouri, and a daughter Ellen Prince and husband Mark of North Carolina. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Christopher Roeger, Megan Prince, David Lewis and wife Katie, Aimee Lewis Wright and husband Alex, and Michael Prince and wife Kelsie. He has two great-granddaughters, Makenzie and Parker and two great-grandsons, Tommy and Ruston.

Cremation arrangements and interment in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson were in the care of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
