Donna Jean Whitworth 

December 1, 1947 - May 25, 2025 

Born in Lubbock, Texas to Bill and Mary (Cornelius) Whitworth, Donna is survived by her mother, Mary Whitworth, her brother, Bill Whitworth, Jr., her sisters-in-law, Susan Whitworth and Maxine Sanders. Donna is also survived by her niece, Regina Ralston & husband Blaine Ralston, her nephew Bill Whitworth, III and his wife Cara Whitworth, grandnieces Taylor Ralston and wife Jennifer Morgan, Lauren Ralston and fiancé Andrew Ruesch, & Kendra and husband C.J. Gavranovic. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill J. Whitworth, Sr.

Donna was a graduate of Baylor University with a degree in nursing. She joined the United States Air Force for the next two years and was honorably discharged as a Captain. After her service in the Air Force she attended Texas A&M University and received her Master’s Degree. Her career as a nurse included working on the heart transplant team with Dr. Denton Cooley at St. Luke's Hospital in Houston. She then went to work as a VIP Park Ranger at Mt. Rainer Washington. She then moved to Austin and began work as a Registered Nurse for Ascension Seton for over 20 years in the operating room.
