Eager to pursue higher education, Hilary continued her studies at Texas A&M University, earning a doctorate in chemistry. This achievement marked the beginning of a distinguished career in the chemical industry.
Hilary's professional life saw her working at notable companies such as FMC Pharmaceutics, DuPont, and Celanese. Her expertise took her across the United States and Europe, where she engaged with diverse teams and cultures, further broadening her horizons. Despite her extensive travels, Hilary's heart remained tethered to Port Washington. She returned to her beloved town in the late 90s, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a renewed dedication to her community.
