Roll Call Tribute

Jason Jablecki '97 May 30, 2025 4:44 PM updated: May 30, 2025 4:55 PM

Jason Leon Jablecki

December 6, 1974 - February 26, 2025

Jason Leon Jablecki, of Greensboro, North Carolina, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 26, 2025. He was far too young at the age of 50.

Jason was born and grew up in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1993 where he played football. In 1998, he graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Computer Systems. As Sr. Vice President, Jason lead the Services business of SAP/ Ariba Intelligent Spend and Business Networks for 16 years. In 2023 Jason joined Apex Analytix as Senior Vice President of Global Software Consulting. Jason was a respected leader, mentor and friend to colleagues and clients alike. His vision and leadership drove the creation of a positive and collaborative environment that facilitated cultural and technical transformation and improvements across the entire global software organization. Jason’s impact both at Apex and the industry at large led to him being honored in 2024 by the “Pros to Know” in the Lifetime Achievement category.

From a very young age, Jason had an interest in how things worked, completely taking apart and rebuilding anything he could get his hands on. In his high school Senior Memoir, when asked his proudest moment he wrote, “Being selected to the all-District and all City football team.” He had a passion for music. He played the saxophone in the Roosevelt Band. In college, Jason played the drums for the band Vintage Now but he most enjoyed playing his guitar while he sang along. In recent years he volunteered for Ronald McDonald House, San Antonio Food Bank and Meals on Wheels.

Jason was deeply loved by his family and friends. A supportive and caring father, husband, son and friend. He had a gift for making everyone feel valued and heard. He had a contagious laughter, enthusiasm for life, and unwavering support during times of need. Jason was the type of person who made a positive impact wherever he went, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and friendship.

Jason was preceded in death by his adoring Mother, JoAnn Bosworth Martin and his brother Patrick Jablecki. He is survived by his loving wife, Meagan Kate Jablecki, his two daughters Darby Quinn Jablecki and Piper Maxine Jablecki. He is further survived by his fathers Joseph Stanislaw Jablecki and Thomas Quinn Martin, and by many cousins, aunts, uncles and countless friends all of which he loved dearly and were a blessing to his life.

Although his family and friends now suffer a deep sorrow for their loss, all want Jason to be remembered as a God-fearing man who lived an honorable life, which embodied compassion and kindness to all.

A celebration ceremony to honor Jason’s life will be held at Forbis & Dick Funeral Service, 5926 W. Friendly Ave, Greensboro, N.C., Wednesday, March 5, 2025, 5:30PM-7:30PM.

A second celebration of life will be held at Community Bible Church, 2477 N Loop 1604 E, San Antonio, Texas, March 25, 2025, 11:00AM-12:00PM.
