Alvin Frank Ziober 

July 27, 1931 - March 7, 2025 

Alvin Frank Ziober, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away March 7th, 2025. Al was one of 7 children born to Mary and Joseph Ziober in Lane City, Texas on July 27th, 1931. He also had 3 siblings with his father's second wife, Stacy.

After graduating from Wharton High School, Al spent several years at Texas A&M and North Texas State University before joining the Air Force. He said it was one of his best decisions. Major Ziober retired after 20 years of service. Al then was with Bell Helicopter for 15 years. He left Bell to "really retire" but he wasn't done; he delivered mail in Keller for 5 years.

Al spent his retirement working in his very large garden, playing poker and watching a lot of Gunsmoke.

Al is survived by his wife Suzanne, his sons Mike and Rich, daughter Patti, Terri, and daughter by marriage, Katie and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Al also leaves 2 sisters, Betty and Lucy, and a very large extended family.

A visitation for Alvin will be held Monday, March 17, 2025 at 5:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, TX. His graveside service will occur Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX.
