Franklin Gordon "Frank" Edwards 

December 9, 1939 - March 1, 2025 

Franklin "Frank" Gordon Edwards, age 85, of Troy, Texas passed from this life with his loving family by his side on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Our Hospice House. He was born on December 9, 1939, in Temple, Texas to his parents Curtis F. Edwards and Aleene Moore.

Frank was a resident of Troy his entire life. He graduated from Troy High School before furthering his education at Texas A&M University pursuing his bachelor's degree in Finance. He would go on to marry the love of his life Dianah (Koehn) Edwards in Dallas, TX. Frank was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Troy and the Mason's organization for many years. In his free time, Frank enjoyed taking afternoon drives admiring all of God's wonderful creations. Frank will be dearly missed by his many friends and family.

Frank was preceded in death by his wife Dianah (Koehn) Edwards and his parents Curtis and Aleene Edwards.

Frank leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons Jack Edwards of Belton and Patrick Edwards of Troy, as well as one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.

Services will be held at Hewett-Arney Funeral Home on Thursday, March 6, 2025. A private family burial will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery.
