Lawrence James Tidrick, Jr. 

May 21, 1939 - June 9, 2024 

Lawrence J. Tidrick, Jr., age 85, entered the gates of Heaven on June 9, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born May 21, 1939 in Lansing, Michigan to Gladys Mae Greyer and Lawrence James Tidrick, Sr. Lawrence moved to San Antonio in 1955, earning his Bachelor’s degree at UTSA after attending Texas A&M University and St. Mary’s.

In 1987, he married the love of his life, Marie. He worked as a controller for various businesses in San Antonio throughout his career. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran church for 30 years. He was a faithful member of Concordia Lutheran Church since 1985, where he served on the STARS team, made hospital and shut-in visits, served as an elder, and sang in the choir.

He was preceded in death by parents, Gladys and Lawrence Tidrick, Sr; sister, Tanya L. Tidrick; brother, Denis L. Tidrick and daughter, Julie Tidrick. Lawrence is survived and will be missed by wife, Marie Tidrick; daughters, Deborah Moreland, Kim Anderson, and Cheryl Herms; brothers, Paul A. Tidrick and Andrew P. Tidrick; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 4 nieces and nephews.

Family will receive guests on June 21, 2024 at 10:00 am at Concordia Lutheran Church.
