Faith Celeste Maciejko-Krenek
October 21, 1975 - August 10, 2024
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Faith Celeste Maciejko-Krenek, who left this world on August 10, 2024, surrounded by the love of her precious Michael, whom she yearned to be with when her journey ended.
Faith was preceded in death by her devoted father, Edward J. Maciejko Sr., her cherished grandparents Nutsey & Lois Hebert and Joseph & Anna Maciejko, her uncle George Maciejko, beloved cousins Shane Gaspard, Rob (Hook) Hatch and David Maciejko.
Faith is survived by her loving parents, Rick and Terri Cole, and her marvelous husband, Michael Krenek, Jr. She leaves behind her siblings, Rocky J. Maciejko, Jr. and Tami, Dustin Cole and Jazlynn, Nikki Cole and Quentin; and her sister-in-law Erin Krenek and Adam. She is also survived by her adored nephews Shannon Lambert and fiancé Taylor, and Lucas Ware; her special nieces, Faith Leggett, Mya Cole, Natalie Cole, and Madelynn Cole; her uncles, Joe and Marcella Maciejko, Robert and Anna Maciejko, Robert and Lynne Cole; her loving in-laws including Michael Krenek, Sr. and Marguerite and her beloved mother-in-law Brenda Krenek; her many cousins, John Maciejko, Tracy Maciejko, Laura Maciejko, Maggie Maciejko, Crisi Maciejko, Jenny Maciejko, Meresha Maciejko, Bryan Cole, Frank Plumlee, Amanda Fontaineese, and all of the Maciejko family.
Faith had many friends including Sybil Starling (her bestie forever), Stephanie Atkinson, Melissa Massey and a host of other beautiful, loyal, loving, special friends that have supported and loved her throughout her life. Faith had a special bond with her fur babies: Beans the pup, and her baby cats; the feral cats whom she cared for with a nurturing spirit. She loved Colorado, the Mesa, the mountains, the wild horses, being a part of nature, taking amazing pictures of scenery and of loved ones. She loved her family and Michael's family, she loved so many things but, most of all, she loved Michael. They met in college and quickly became inseparable. Faith and Michael were married for a quarter century and he was, and will always be, her beloved.
An extraordinary woman, Faith exceeded boundaries that many would deem insurmountable. As a Pediatric Clinical Nurse Practitioner, she spent 2 years at Children’s Hospital in Pediatric oncology, and she also worked caring for newborns at Parkland Hospital in Dallas and eventually worked in a private office. Faith dedicated her life to the care and nurturing of children, embodying hope and compassion in all she did, until her illness would no longer allow her to continue. She also served on the Palisade Parks and Recovery Advisory Board, even while battling illness, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to her community. Faith is already deeply missed and will always be loved. Her legacy of kindness, strength, and dedication will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew her.
