Jan LeRoy Smith 

August 3, 1937 - December 8, 2024 

A man of many talents and passions, Jan truly was a renaissance man. He lived his dreams in a way that few get to experience, making his mark as a professional golfer and by raising racehorses. Known for his sharp wit and strong work ethic, he always charmed those around him with a warm smile and kind spirit.  

Jan is survived by his loving daughter, Jana, and son-in-law, Jeffery, as well as his granddaughter, Jilanne, and her husband, Nathan, and two great-grandsons, Brady and Barrett. Jan is also survived by his sister, Sandra and brother, Kent, and his wife, Caroline, as well as his step-daughter, Christine, and step-son, Michael.
