George Robert Barth 

December 6, 1966 - February 27, 2024 

George Robert Barth, 57, of East Greenville, PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 27th, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Donna (Moore) Barth and devoted father of Chloe Barth. He was the son of Joan (Smith) Barth and the late George A. Barth. He is also survived by his sister Ginger Barth and her husband Colin Williams of Half Moon Bay, CA, his sister-in-law Kristine Vaughan and her husband Christopher of Mount Laurel, NJ; his nephews Ethan and Aidan Williams, and his nieces Casey and Skylar Vaughan. In addition, he is survived by his beloved cat, Misty.

George grew up in Harleysville, PA, attended Souderton High School (’84), and graduated from Texas A&M University (’89) with a degree in Industrial Engineering specializing in Operations Research. He worked for Amplifier Research in Souderton, PA for over 35 years. He was a member of several IEEE Standards Committees. In addition, he was an avid deep-sea fisherman, scuba diver, sausage maker, microbrewer, and jack-of-all-trades.

Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate his life and share memories on Sunday, March 10th, from 12 to 4pm at PC Pub, in Pennsburg, PA, 468 Pottstown Avenue.
