He is survived by his devoted wife of 29 years, Pamela Felcman, and cherished children: Christopher D. Felcman (fiancée, Bethany Taylor), Kathryn M. Felcman, and Adam F. Felcman.

David was born in Wallis, TX, to Frank and Josephine Felcman, where he laid the roots of his compassionate nature and dedication to his community. A true embodiment of selflessness, David tirelessly served others, whether through his involvement in numerous St. Bartholomew ministries, including his roles as Director of Bingo, SVDP volunteer, Knights of Columbus, or his endeavors on his parents' farm in Wallis.

David pursued his academic endeavors at Texas A&M University, graduating as a civil engineer. He began his illustrious engineering career at Turner Collie and Braden Inc. in 1985. Over 27 years, he made significant contributions to various esteemed organizations, including PanEnergy, Duke Energy, Spectra Energy, and Enbridge. Despite facing health challenges, he remained dedicated to his profession, culminating his career at TC Energy. Beyond his professional pursuits, David found solace and joy in simple pleasures, including strumming his guitar, fishing, hunting, nurturing his garden, and cooking for his family.

Visitation will be held at Schmidt Funeral Home Grand Parkway Chapel on Monday, April 1, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. The funeral Mass honoring David's life will be on Tuesday, April 2, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, followed by a reception. Subsequently, David will be laid to rest at Guardian Angel Catholic Church Cemetery in Wallis, TX, at 1:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Knights of Columbus #6950, P.O. Box 1065, Katy, TX 77492, in honor of David's lifelong dedication to service and community.
