Jordan Dallas James

September 26, 1991 - March 4, 2024

Jordan Dallas James, beloved son, partner, brother, grandson, cousin, uncle, and friend passed away suddenly on March 4, 2024, at his home in Houston, Texas at the age of 32. Jordan was born September 26, 1991, in Bedford, Texas to Jessica (Faidi) James, and Craig Michael James.

Jordan attended school at Liberty Christian and was a graduate of the class of 2009. He started a business as a swimming instructor during his summers off from college. He attended his first year of college at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville before transferring to Texas A&M University, graduating in 2015. With his undergraduate degree in hand, Jordan applied to and was accepted to the South Texas College of Law, graduating in 2018. Achieving his lifelong goal, Jordan now had a few months ahead to study for the Texas Bar Exam.

After passing the Bar in 2019, Jordan had big plans in his future. To say his family was proud was an understatement. He settled into Houston with his “favorite dog ever” Morty, and his best girl Liz. They shared a life which included lots of LSU football games at Liz’s urging but Jordan always smiled as she dressed Morty in an LSU jersey before every game. Jordan practiced Personal Injury Law and was always excited to help his clients win a case where they had been wronged.

Jordan cared deeply for the people he loved. He had a love for the Lord in his heart from an early age, and deeply loved Liz, Morty, his family, and his friends. We were all blessed to share Jordan’s journey for 32 years and grateful for the gift of his warmth and gentle presence. We must carry his life verse, Isaiah 40:31, with us and act accordingly. “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint.”

Jordan Dallas James will be missed and the time we had with him will be forever cherished by his surviving family, his mother, Jessica Faidi James, of Haslet, TX; father, Craig James, of Denton, TX; step father, Allen Vasut, of Haslet TX; devoted partner, Liz Glauser, of Houston, TX; brother and sister, Ross James, of New Rochelle, New York, and Victoria James, of Haslet, TX; siblings Amber Robbins-Blanton, of Rockwell, TX, and Sydni Young-Jeter, of Sherman, TX; nieces Kali Blanton, of Rockwall, TX, and Prowess Jeter, of Sherman, TX; grandparents, Cherif and Sarah Faidi, of Trophy Club, TX, Donn and Connie James, of Salem, MO, and Susan and Dick Langdon, of St. Louis, MO; a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and most of all his beloved partner in crime Morty. He was preceded in death by his cousin John Andrew VanSlyke and his faithful first pup, Socks James.

Funeral services will be on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at the Keller Old Towne Funeral Home at 12:30PM. Interment will follow at Medlin Cemetery Trophy Club, TX, followed by a reception across the street at Jordan’s maternal grandparents, Sarah and Cherif Faidi’s home #17 Avenue Twenty, Trophy Club, TX. Visitation will be held at the Chapel prior to the service on Sunday from 10:30 AM until service time.
