Michelle Renay Kirk 

August 18, 1976 - December 30, 2023 

On December 30, 2023, Michelle Renay Kirk passed away from complications that come from living with breast cancer. She was 47 years old. Born in Victoria, Texas, she grew up in the Houston area under the watchful eye of her mother Connie and father Dwane Stone.

She loved dancing and competed as a child in a wide range of styles, a trait she shares with her daughter Olivia (13). A graduate of Westbury High School (Class of 1994), she studied business and finance at Texas A&M University, graduating early before pursuing an MBA at the University of Houston. She worked in finance for a variety of Houston area companies and spent a few years in Denver, Colorado before retiring from Ecolab in 2021.

Michelle was a fixture in the Sugar Land and Aurora (CO) Jazzercise community and taught regular classes for over 20 years. She was a rabid girls soccer fan – supporting her daughter Caitlyn (11) on her progression through the RISE Soccer Academy.

Michelle was loved and supported by so many immediate family and friends. Her husband of 16 years, Jason Kirk and their two daughters Olivia (13) and Caitlyn (11); her sister Stephanie and her husband Seth Ellis, along with their daughters Ashlynn (13) and Audrey (11). Her beloved Paw Paw Louie from Victoria, TX.

A celebration of life for Michelle will be held Friday, January 5, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Family Event Center at The Settegast-Kopf Company at Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77478.
