July 11, 1961 - February 6, 2024 

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carl Hager, III, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend. Carl departed this life on February 6, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on July 11, 1961, Carl lived a life marked by unwavering dedication, infectious enthusiasm, and boundless generosity. He was the proud father of Carolyn Flemming, April Styer, Carl Hager, IV, and Kristi Hager, and the cherished grandfather of Brayden and Tatum Flemming, Margaret, Gabriella, and Cooper Styer, and Carl Hager, V.

Carl was a proud member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 1985, where he forged lifelong friendships and cherished memories.

In his professional endeavors, Carl found fulfillment in the beer industry, where he dedicated the majority of his career. Taking immense pride in his work, he not only excelled in his role but also cultivated enduring friendships with colleagues and clients alike. His passion for his craft was evident to all who knew him, and his impact on the industry will be remembered for years to come.

A significant part of his legacy lies in his genuine connections with others. He was always ready to share a drink and a story, forging bonds that transcended generations. His warmth, kindness, and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to call him a friend.

But perhaps Carl's most enduring legacy was his children and grandchildren, whom he cherished dearly. He took immense pride in their growth and achievements, celebrating their successes in life.

Though Carl may have left this world, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved him. As we mourn his loss, let us also celebrate the immeasurable impact he had on our lives and the countless memories we shared together.

Rest in peace, dad / grandpa Carl. You will be forever missed, but never forgotten.
