Kylee Elizabeth Piersol

July 24, 2001 - March 9, 2024

Kylee Elizabeth Piersol, 22, of Fulshear, Texas, passed away unexpectedly into the arms of our Lord on March 9, 2024. Born in Houston, Texas, on July 24, 2001, to Drew and Mitzi Piersol, Kylee’s kind heart and radiant smile endeared her to all who knew her.

Kylee leaves behind her loving parents, Drew and Mitzi Piersol, her brother Peyton Piersol, sister-in-law Taylor Piersol, brother Landon Piersol, nephews Jackson and Rhett Piersol, uncles Matt Harris, Lance Harris, Sean Piersol, Aunt Charlotte Piersol, and first cousins Matthew, Ashley, Brittanie, and Hollie. Additionally, she cherished her relationship with Tristian Gudduschat, her beloved "LOML" (Love of My Life). Kylee was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Von & Sharon “Memaw” Harris, and paternal grandparents, Jim Piersol & Pamela Piersol.

Growing up in Cypress, Texas, Kylee was an active and intelligent child who excelled in sports like t-ball, basketball, and volleyball. She also had a passion for music, particularly playing the flute, and achieved notable success in 8th grade at the UIL Regional Band competition. Kylee's move to Fulshear during her freshman year brought her to Tompkins High School, where she continued to thrive academically and athletically, particularly in volleyball playing her freshman year and on a travel team playing weekend tournaments.

Alongside her studies and sports, Kylee worked part-time at a local tea shop, demonstrating her responsibility and dedication. Kylee was driven and had an “all-in” mentality; she was determined to pursue higher education at Texas A&M University, where she excelled in the College of Public Health. Kylee's ambition and dedication were evident as she aimed for academic excellence, on a path to graduate at the top of her class and aspiring to further her education with a second bachelor's degree in nursing beginning 2025.

Outside of her academic pursuits, Kylee embraced a variety of hobbies, including reading, studying her Bible, cooking, baking, yoga & fitness, fishing, the Astros and Savannah Bananas, and most recently teaching herself to play the keyboard. She loved the beach, especially waking up early in time to watch the sunrise. She found immense joy in spending time with her family, organizing gatherings and celebrations, and being an adoring Auntie KyKy to her nephews. Someone recently said, “There wasn’t a time I didn’t see her with a smile on her face and a nephew in her arms.” She cherished her relationships with the many second cousins, great-aunts, great-uncles whom she kept up with regularly thanks to social media.

Kylee's compassion extended beyond her immediate circle to include her rescue dog, Finley, whom she cherished as her loyal companion. Together, they enjoyed active outdoor activities and comforting companionship. She loved being his Dog Mom.

A visitation will be held on March 25, 2024, from 4-8pm at Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, TX 77494. A service to celebrate Kylee's life will be on March 26, 2024 at 1:00pm at Parkway Fellowship, 27043 FM 1093 Rd, Richmond, Texas 77406. She will be laid to rest at Forest Park Southwest Cemetery, 9040 FM 359, Richmond, Texas 77406. Friends and loved ones are invited to honor her a reception hosted by dear friends from 4-6pm at 5807 Evening Oaks Ln, Fulshear, TX 77441.

Though her time on Earth was brief, Kylee's life was a testament to love, joy, and kindness. She will be forever remembered for her radiant spirit and the positive impact she had on all who knew her.
