Felix Matthew Fisher 

July 10, 1975 - March 15, 2024 

Felix Matthew Fisher, 48, of San Antonio, Texas passed into heaven on Friday March 15, 2024. He was born in Kerrville to Johnny Fisher and Sherry Matthews Fisher on July 10th 1975.

He attended high school at Ingram Tom Moore. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts. After graduating, he taught History at Tivy High School and coached their golf team. He then worked in sales with Ashley Furniture Industries for 23 years where he was awarded Salesman of The Year. He helped with the family ranching business all his life and was 6th generation that was established by his Real Family Ancestors. He was an Honorary Member of The Tejas Vaqueros which he enjoyed hosting on the Fisher Family Ranch. He was proud of his All Around Buckle he won at the Tejas Vaquero 2008 Rodeo. He loved the game of golf and went to State on his high school golf team. He continued to be an avid golfer all his life. He was in 4-H Club and Future Farmers of America during his youth with multiple projects he accomplished. He loved attending Texas A&M football games. He was a devoted Christian who enjoyed family gatherings and events. He was always available to help family or a friend. Felix's big smile and big heart will last forever. He lost the unfortunate battle with terminal cancer. He kept it private to eliminate the burden on his loved ones. He will be dearly missed.

Felix was preceded in death by his father, John Clifford Fisher II (Johnny); maternal grandparents, Marjorie Lewis Clark and Neal Matthews; paternal grandparents, Ella Real Fisher and Felix Franklin Fisher.

Survivors include his children, Kila Ople Fisher (age 16), William Franklin Fisher (age 14) and Cade Joseph Fisher (age 8); mother, Sherry Ople Matthews Fisher; brother, (Trey) John Clifford Fisher III and wife Michele; brother, Shawn Lewis Fisher; stepsister, Andrea Kelly and husband Kirk; and stepbrother, Pat Wood and wife Wendy. Nieces and nephews include Brianna and husband Nick Mocio, Baylan Fisher, Brooke Fisher, Renee Fisher, Weston Fisher, Madeline and Gavin Kelly, Clifford Wood and wife Brittney, and Savannah Wood. He had a great nephew, Maddox John Mocio and great niece, Adalynn Wood.

The visitation will be 5-7pm Friday March 22nd at Grimes Funeral Chapels, Kerrville. Funeral Services will be held at 10am Saturday March 23rd at Grimes Funeral Chapels, Kerrville. Burial will follow at Fisher Family Cemetery.

Pallbearers are William Fisher, Trey Fisher, Shawn Fisher, Razor Dobbs, Robert Real, Lance Leissner, Baylan Fisher, Chuck Lemmond, Travis Thorne, Nick Mocio, Westin Fisher, Kervin Lewis, Pat Wood, Kirk Kelly, Paul Woody, Scott Ingrassia, and William Johnson.

Memorials may be given to a charity of choice. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all the close friendships that made Felix's life special. He was blessed.
