David Andrew Bencini
May 22, 1954 - January 10, 2024
David Andrew Bencini, 69 of Murphysboro, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Manor Court of Carbondale.
He was born May 22, 1954 in Murphysboro to the late William Keith and Pauline Rose Sabella Bencini.
David was a devout Christian, loving father, brother, and friend. He enjoyed writing, reading, eating ice cream, long walks, and spending time with loved ones.
Survivors include his three children and their spouses: Andrew D. Bencini, Padra Franks, and Cameron W. Bencini; siblings, William K. Bencini and Maria E. Bencini; grandchildren, Gabriel, Sicily, Conrad, Amiah, Felix, William, and Lola; his nieces and nephews; and sweetheart and life-partner, Barbara Barry.
He was welcomed into Heaven by his grandparents, parents, and brother, Joseph Bencini.
Private burial has been held at Pleasant Grove Memorial Park.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Crain Pleasant Grove-Murdale Funeral Home.
