Aaron Jacinto Azcarraga

July 20, 1986 - June 25, 2023

Aaron Azcarraga, 36, of Bryan, Texas passed away on his family property in Grimes County, on Sunday, June 25, 2023. A visitation will begin at 9:00 am followed by a Remembrance Service at 11:30 am, Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota. Cremation services are entrusted to the care of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Aaron was born to Roland and Emily Azcarraga, in Borger, Texas on Saturday, July 20, 1986. Aaron was ambitious early on in his childhood and craved adventure in the great outdoors. His fascination with building, creating, and understanding how things function pushed him to pursue a major in Bioenvironmental Science at Texas A&M University. While at Texas A&M, he was a member and was later elected president of the student organization “Philippine Student Association.”

Throughout his life, Aaron enjoyed many different activities and hobbies including serenading and entertaining family and friends by playing various instruments such as guitar, piano, and the violin, playing competitive tennis, taking care of his pets, working on hotrods, playing video games, working out, cooking, baking, bouldering, organic gardening, operating farm machinery, learning to speak Spanish and taking care of Mother Earth through recycling.

Aaron showed his devotion to his parents by taking care of them through much needed life changes such as introducing them to an organic vegetarian diet and an increased amount of physical activity. He always ended a call to his parents by saying, “I love you, Mom. I love you, Dad” no matter what the end result of the conversation was.

As a husband, he made sure that his wife, Yuri, had an overabundance of LOVE, kisses, hugs, jokes, back massages and foot rubs. His compassion, respect, and emotional maturity to his wife allowed him to have a happy and beautiful union.

He is survived by his wife, Yuriria Lara; his parents, Roland and Emily Azcarraga; and paternal grandmother Elena Azcarraga.
