Collie R. Williams, III 

November 18, 1950 - February 23, 2024 

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Collie R. Williams, III, affectionately known as "Bob" or "Bobby," entered eternal rest on the 23rd day of February 2024 in San Antonio, Texas. Collie was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on November 18, 1950 to parents Collie R. Williams, Jr. and Clara Mae Cooper.

Collie met his best friend, Sandra Kennon during her high school years. They married in 1979, and have since shared a beautiful union of 44 years, and raised two loving sons.

He was a 1969 graduate of Phillis Wheatley High School where he played football. He was a 1977 graduate of Texas A&M University, where he was a member of the ROTC and earned his Bachelor's degree in Building Construction. Shortly after college, Collie held a position with the Texas State Highway Department for 10 years. He later gained employment with the United States Postal Service, whereas his duties included drawing district and zip code maps. He retired after 25 years of service.

In his spare time, he enjoyed his family, and being a devoted husband, loving father, and grandfather. He would always look forward to watching either a game of the San Antonio Spurs or Dallas Cowboys.

Collie's family legacy will continue to live on through his close family and friends., and his physical presence will be dearly missed.

Collie is preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves to cherish in his memory, his beloved wife, Sandra K. Williams, his sons: Anthony D. Williams (Valerie), and Ryaan L. Williams (Quinisha), four grandchildren: Nia Williams, Braxton Williams, Riyah Williams, and Landon Williams; his siblings: Ronald Williams (Margie), Eric Williams (Mary Helen), Lawrence Williams, Brenda Bibbs, Angela Butler, and Andrea Rose; maternal aunt, Murlene Cooper as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
